How Hedgefield House is Keeping you Safe
With more and more travellers enjoying ‘staycations’ on their doorsteps, they are choosing accommodation carefully and wisely as the UK eases out of an unsettled period of lockdown. Safety, health and hygiene are first and foremost on their list, as travellers seek reassurance that their accommodation provider will have all the correct health, hygiene and safety protocols in place.
Hedgefield House is a bastion of Georgian luxury and the owners are keen to welcome guests back to enjoy the high standard of hospitality which it’s known for. All rooms in the house (which is set within tranquil gardens,) now have an en-suite bathroom, so guests can enjoy privacy and comfort. Guests will also appreciate the clean and tastefully decorated rooms with comfortable beds as well as the in-house ambience, providing much-needed peace following these months of unrest.
Breakfast is not currently provided due to current circumstances
One small change that Hedgefield House has had to make as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that is that breakfast is not currently provided to guests. This is an unforeseen change and anyone booking a breakaway will be advised of this amendment which is designed to protect guests. Of course, there are plenty of opportunities to dine in the greater Newcastle area and one option is to consider a relaxed brunch.
There are of course risks associated with accommodation and Hedgefield House has taken every step possible to ensure excellent hygiene standards are in place for guests. Following government guidelines, cleaning will be ‘stepped up’ and particular attention will be paid to frequently touched surfaces.
Hedgefield House will demonstrate to its guests the importance of providing a safe environment and every bedroom will be fully sanitized before guests arrive. Surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned and all staff have been fully trained on the new guidelines. A warm and friendly welcome is guaranteed of course and management is looking forward to receiving guests.
